Pre A1 Starters, A1 Movers and A2 Flyers are designed for young learners between the ages of 6 and 12, and are a consistent measure of how children are learning English. The purpose of the exam is to make learning fun.
The children are motivated by their efforts to obtain certificates and receive a "shield" to record their progress.
Pre A1 Starters (formerly known as YLE Starters)
